Marriage God determined Part 2

It is God who decided to marry a man and a woman. As written below.

24 Therefore the man leaves his parents and joins his wife, and the two become one. 25 They were both naked, but did not feel embarrassed by each other. (Genesis 2: 24,25)

The apostle Paul wrote “mystery” by quoting the words of Genesis 2:24. “Therefore, a person leaves his father and mother, is united with his wife, and they become one.” This mystery is great. I am referring to Christ and the church. (Ephesians 5: 31,32)

Adam, the first human being, was deeply slept by God, his ribs were removed, and his wife was created ( reference https://canaan.blog/marriage-god-defined/ ). The second Adam, Jesus Christ, was killed on the cross instead of sleeping, and was stabbed on his side, and the blood and water that flowed from it created the “church” of his bride. Paul writes that this is a mystery. It is Genesis chapter 3 that sin enters mankind. Before that, at the stage of Genesis chapter 2, the church was already at the center of God’s plan. It’s amazing. The wonderful depiction is depicted in John’s Revelation.

We will enjoy and praise God. The time has come for the lamb to marry and the bride is ready for it. The bride was allowed to wear a shiny, clean linen garment. That linen is the right thing to do for the saints. The angel said to me, “Fortunately those who were invited to the wedding reception of the lamb,” and said, “This is the true word of God.” (Revelation 19: 7-9) This is the wedding reception of the Lamb, the wedding of “Christ and the Church.” The groom is Jesus Christ and the church is the bride of Christ. Now the church (Christian) is preparing for the wedding with Jesus.

A letter to the Ephesians describes the biblical principles of marriage. Wives. Follow your husband as you obey the Lord. Because Christ is the head of the church, and the husband is the head of his wife, just as he is the savior of his body. Just as the church follows Christ, wives should obey their husbands in all adults. Husbands. Love your wife, just as Christ loved the church and offered himself for the church. Christ did so by the Word, by washing the water, to cleanse and sanctify the church, and by himself, without any stains, wrinkles, or anything like that, holy wounds. This is to make the lost glorious church stand in front of you. As such, husbands must love their wives as if they were their own bodies. Those who love their wives love themselves. No one hates himself. On the contrary, it nourishes and nurtures this. It is the same as Christ did the church. Because we are part of the body of Christ. “Therefore, a person leaves his father and mother, is united with his wife, and they become one.” This mystery is great. I am referring to Christ and the church. That being said, love each of your wives as much as you do. The wife should also respect her husband. (Ephesians 5: 22-33)

Adam and Eve were both naked, but they didn’t feel embarrassed about each other (verse 25). It can be said that this is an ideal marital relationship. It means that we can talk about anything without hiding each other.
